This was our building
A Mickey Greeting from our housekeeper... or is it mousekeeper?
We stayed in one of the Royal Guest Rooms, that only opened in mid-March. It was amazing. So many cute details. For instance, the fireworks scene in the headboards was over-the-top!
The faucet was Aladdin's Lamp
The bathroom was all Little Mermaid - notice the Snarflats on the shower curtain.
The bench that turned back in to a dog from Beauty and the Beast
Silhouettes of the princes. Did you know that the Beast's name is actually Prince Adam?
Once we got settled in and spent some time at the pool, we got dressed and took the river taxi across to Downtown Disney
Thanks Ashlyn for letting us borrow the cute cute Pooh outfit!
Downtown Disney from the river taxi
My absolute favorite part of Downtown Disney is the Lego store. It never ceases to amaze me what they can make!
After a nice afternoon at Downtown Disney, we headed back to the hotel and had a nice sit-down dinner at the restaurant, Boatwright's, which served cajun influenced food. I am allergic to shellfish, so that is always a concern when eating in a restaurant that serves it. I was so impressed. The chef himself came to our table, took my order, specifically, cooked it himself, and brought it to the table to ensure that it never came in contact with any kind of shellfish. I was so impressed. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish.
