It was a milestone birthday this year for our Lulu. The big 16! Since her birthday fell during Spring Break this year, she opted to postpone her party until later in the month. We couldn't let her big day go by uncelebrated, however. Dennis let her drive his truck to her favorite place, Little Anthony's Diner, where we happened upon a car show. Win for everyone! Summer's friend Dahlia joined us for lunch and then we met another friend of hers at Golf N' Stuff for some fun! We closed out her special day with a churro flavored birthday cake and presents at home.

Summer wanted Dennis to make her a churro flavored cake with icing roses for her party, neither of which he had ever done. So, he decided to do a trial run for her actual birthday. It was definitely a success!
