A Week In The Life: 7 Oct - 13 Oct

It was fall break week at our house! Thanks to cheerleading 4 times a week, we couldn't really go anywhere, so we had a little mini-staycation here in Tucson.

Sunday I made some dee-licious Pumpkin Spice Mini-Muffins. You can find the recipe here. I sealed some up in an air-tight container and sent them to Den. We'll see what state they are in when they get there.

I also very gently relocated this big guy to the other side of the wall. No idea what kind of spider he is, but he had worked so hard to spin such a beautiful web that I just couldn't kill him.

We had an awesome dinner with out next door neighbors, Tony and Julie, Sunday night followed by some ATV driving lessons for the girlies

Summer had a good hair day that she required be immortalized on film

Before Fall Break could start on Wednesday, Paige first had to survive end-of-quarter exams. She did a great job on them because when her report card arrived in the mail on Saturday it had 6 A's and 1 B.

Tuesday morning's sunrise painted our view in the most beautiful colors

I drove Den's truck for the first time. Boy is that thing a beast.

Wednesday we went to see Hotel Transylvania, which is totally cute. We all really enjoyed it. Thursday was 10/11/12 and the girls and I headed for one of our favorite places in Tucson, Reid Park Zoo. You can read about our zooventure here. This pic was taken at 10:11:12 on 10/11/12!

Saturday found us at the football field for the Mighty Mites' Homecoming Game, which they totally dominated. The girls are sporting their pink practice shirts and socks for the month of October for Breast Cancer awareness.

Summer's shout out to her favorite #7!

All in all it was a pretty good week. The girlies and I got to spend some quality fun time. Next week is a biggie - Junior High soccer tryouts!!! Send some good luck wishes Paige's way!
